PLANO – U.S. Congressman Van Taylor (TX-03) today announced a helpful opportunity for Collin County taxpayers.

On Friday, March 1, 2019, Congressman Taylor will host an IRS Free File Workshop in order for qualified taxpayers to learn more about free online tax preparation and e-filing services.

Attendees will learn about and receive an interactive demonstration on free tax filing services and programs available to taxpayers who earned an annual individual income of $66,000 or less in 2018.

Congressman Van Taylor said, "Filing taxes can be a daunting process, which is why I am hosting this Free File Workshop. This event will help my constituents learn about free resources to file their taxes this year. In Congress, I will work on behalf of all taxpayers to lower the tax and regulatory burden on hard-working Texans."

The event will take place on Friday, March 1, 2019 in Room J-129 of Collin College's Spring Creek Campus located at 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway, Plano, Texas 75074 from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM.
